Morzine Summer Events 2018
The line up of Morzine summer events this year is impressive. After a spectacular winter in our Catered Chalets Morzine with excellent snow conditions all season, we are now approaching the start of an action packed summer. There are some fantastic Morzine Summer Events and activities for all the family along with some of the best down hill mountain biking in europe. Here are a few things to look forward to this summer:
Cyclosportive Haut-Chablais – 17th June
The Morzine Haut Chablais is a cycle race through some of the most beautiful alpine scenery and takes on legendary passes in the area. Mountain pastures, forests and lakes are all on the agenda. The race starts in Morzine centre and finishes at the Lac du Montriond. This will be a great event for spectators and competitors. Click here for details.
Crankworx – 20th to 24th June
The Crankworx World Tour comes to Les Gets for the 3rd year running. The worlds top mountain bikers compete, riding faster, climbing further, flying higher, and going bigger than imaginable. Amazing to watch! Click here for details.
Savoie Porsche Cup – 22nd to 24th June
Savoie Cup is a gathering and a tourist rally exclusively for Porsche! There will be 200 porches participating and over 400 attending in and around Morzine. Click here for details.
Pass’Portes du Soleil – 29th June to 1st July
The Pass’Portes du Soleil is a mountain bike ride in France and switzerland through 9 different resorts. The route is aproximately 80km. We love this event and can highly recommend it. There will also be a bike show in Morzine too, where you can demo the latest bikes and check out the latest gear. Click here for details.
Spartan Race – 7th to 8th July
A huge event in Morzine this summer. The spartan Beast is a gruelling race with hundreds of participants. The course requires strength, endurance and resolve. The unpredictable terrain and Spartan Obstacles make this course extremely challenging along with bushes, ditches and rivers. This event is seriously intense and only for the super fit.
