Want to work a Ski Season in Morzine?

We have 3 beautiful, luxury ski chalets in Morzine, France. Our chalets are high quality and our service levels are exceptional, all delivered in a comfortable, friendly and homely style. Each year a huge amount of loyal guests return to our chalets to have their every need tended to by our friendly staff.  We receive an abundance of applications to work with us, but we are committed to finding the perfect candidates to deliver the Snow Candy experience. We are looking for a selected few who have great personalities and can commit to the whole season. They will be enthusiastic with a good sense of humour and certainly not afraid of hard work! All staff need to be keen to get on the mountain skiing or snowboarding and to share this enthusiasm with our guests…. Is this you? If so then read on!

We are recruiting NOW for the following positions for Winter 2016/17. Descriptions are not exhaustive and all staff must be completely flexible as all roles can change from day to day.

Chalet Host/Chalet Couple

A hugely important role that has a direct impact on the enjoyment of our guests.  We employ either individual hosts or chalet host couples/friends all of whom can cook our delicious menu plan using their proven, excellent catering skills.  The hosts that we want to join our creative and competent team should be professional, friendly and enthusiastic. It is a job for someone who likes to meet people, be a great team player, cook and entertain but also, someone who can maintain our high cleaning standards as well as manage budgets and plan the day to day running of one of our beautiful chalets.

This role requires initiative and commitment. Early starts and late finishes are a certainty. An awesome ski or snowboard session in between your shifts is certainly fun, but can be tiring. Cleaning can sometimes be mundane, but immaculately clean chalets is what’s expected all the time.  A positive, enthusiastic approach is required towards all tasks at all times. The food is a huge part of a Snow Candy catered chalet holiday and our hosts must have a passion for food and be confident in preparing and serving food to small groups. We provide cooking training, but a bubbly, enthusiastic personality with a dedication to providing a memorable experience to all our guests, can’t be trained and is down to you!

Chalet host responsibilities:

For six days a week chalet hosts provide cooked breakfast, afternoon tea and a three course evening meal with wine and coffee. You will also be responsible for keeping the chalet clean and tidy at all times whilst caring for Snow Candy guests in a warm and friendly manner.

Please note – our host vacancies require you to be a confident and experienced cook. If you have completed a chalet cookery course, worked in a commercial kitchen or can show relevant catering experience this will greatly increase your chances of being invited for an interview with Snow Candy.

Driver

We are looking for responsible drivers who are dedicated to safety and delivering an exceptional level of customer service. Our previous driver was repeatedly mentioned on Trip Advisor and the return guests ask for him to pick them up from the airport.  They refer to him as a ‘legend’! This is the level of service we expect from our new drivers.  Our drivers are there to ensure our guests get to where they need to be with minimal fuss and delay, mainly to the lifts and back.  Transportation of chalet staff is required where necessary and our drivers may have multiple Morzine airport transfers throughout the week and all day on a changeover day.  You will be responsible for the cleaning and general upkeep and maintenance of the vehicles.  Snow clearing is also expected.   You must be able to initiate interesting conversation and banter with our guests in a friendly and professional way.  You must have a full, clean driving license, held for at least five years and either a professional driving qualification or at least 2 years experience driving professionally.

The Package (all staff)

 For successful candidates, we offer:
